WhatIP is an informational internet utility, not a security guarantee or a source of legal or investigative evidence.

Use of results

Results are provided for general informational and troubleshooting purposes and may change as network providers, registries, and geolocation databases update their own data. Do not rely on an IP address, WHOIS record, or ASN result as proof of a person’s identity or exact physical location.

No warranty

WhatIP is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Some tools depend on third-party registries and APIs that are outside our control and may occasionally be slow, rate-limited, or unavailable.

Acceptable use

Please do not use WhatIP’s tools to attempt to overload, scrape at scale, or circumvent the rate limits of this site or of the underlying data providers.

Changes

We may improve, change, or retire individual tools as the service evolves. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
